BioLM has released open-source tools, biolm-hub and biolm-sdk, to standardize and simplify the deployment and integration of biological language models. This addresses operational challenges by providing a consistent interface for deploying and accessing dozens of pLLMs and DNA-LLMs, enabling efficient model usage without significant custom infrastructure.
To most people, the term “techbio” simply encompasses using cutting-edge algorithms and data toward biology. But it should be a call to action to adopt successful paradigms from the tech industry into biotech—strategies like “move fast and break things,” modern organizational structures, and most importantly here, the proliferation of APIs that let others programmatically access […]
Dive into the computational demands of bio-sequence LLMs. We emphasize that while pre-training requires the most resources, both fine-tuning and prediction still necessitate significant computational power. Explores cost-effective solutions for accessing powerful GPUs.
